Aadhar Update Deadline: How to Update Your Aadhaar Card Free Online?
In accordance with the Aadhaar Enrolment and Update Regulations, 2016, those who have an Aadhaar card are required to update their address and proof of identity every 10 years after the date of Aadhaar enrollment.
Because of this, if a person hasn't updated their Proof of Identity (PoI) or Proof of Address (PoA) documents in the last 10 years, the Unique Identification Authority of India, or UIDAI, has been pleading with them to do so. Aadhaar-related fraud would be reduced and accurate demographic data will be provided by updating the Aadhaar card documentation.
Last Date of Aadhaar Update
The myAadhaar portal's deadline for free Aadhaar card updates is June 14, 2024. You will be required to update your address records and identity verification for your Aadhaar card after June 14, 2024, for a cost.
Due to the residents' excellent response, the UIDAI extended the free online Aadhaar card document updating option till June 14, 2024, from its original expiration date of March 14, 2024. Consequently, until June 14, 2024, the myAadhaar portal will continue to offer the free online update feature for Aadhaar card papers.

Up till June 14, 2024, there is no cost to change your Aadhaar card online using the myAadhaar portal. If you use this update feature offline at a real Aadhaar center, it is not free. At Aadhaar centers, updating your documentation for your Aadhaar card will cost you Rs. 50.
You would need to update your Aadhaar card documents online using the myAadhaar portal after June 14, 2024, for a charge of Rs. 25.
What Takes Place If The Aadhaar Is Not Updated By The Last Date?
Aadhaar cardholders have been requested by the UIDAI to upload or update the identity and address proof documents they supplied with their Aadhaar cards. An individual must update their identity and address proof documents by paying a cost of Rs. 25 on the my Aadhaar portal or Rs. 50 at physical Aadhaar centers if they do not update their Aadhaar card documentation before June 14, 2024. Aside from that, if users fail to update papers in their Aadhar, the Aadhar would become inactive.
